First impressions count, so we invested in smart new uniforms across our venues to show the consistency of our standards. WorkwearTeam supported us throughout the project. They carried out sample days and wearer trials to help us select quality garments, set up sizing days to take down our order, then delivered our uniforms direct to each individual’s workplace. Now, we have a unified staff image which reflects our brand.

To reflect the consistently high levels of service clients can expect at each of its locations, EEF Venues wanted to rebrand its staff uniforms to create staff image which was in keeping with its prestigious brand. As part of the rebrand, it wanted the new uniform to incorporate its brand colours so staff were clearly recognisable by visitors.
EEF Venues had purchased several supplies from OfficeTeam in the past, including ad hoc workwear items. When it came to rebranding its staff uniforms, it knew WorkwearTeam could supply quality garments, suitable for staff’s roles.
As EEF Venues prides itself on quality, it was important for the new uniforms to reflect this ethos. With this in mind, we selected a variety of high-end garments for consideration. To allow EEF Venues’ stakeholders to experience the look and feel of these options, we held sample days. We dressed mannequins in male and female variations of each style of uniform to demonstrate the carefully selected range of shirts, blouses, skirts, jackets and trousers.
Based on the sample day, EEF Venues selected the style which best matched the image it had in mind. However, the items also needed to be appropriate in everyday use. So, we provided samples to be trialled by staff in their day-to-day roles. Once we were satisfied the items were fit for purpose, it was time to order uniforms for staff at all of EEF Venues’ locations.
To allow the rebranded uniforms to be rolled out at the same time, we would need to place a bulk order for all EEF Venues staff. To achieve this, we carried out sizing days at each location. WorkwearTeam laid out samples of the selected items in every size in a large room. Staff were allocated a time slot to try the products and choose the size which was the most comfortable fit. Their choices were then filled out on an order form, allowing us to place a single bulk order once all sites had been visited.
As each individual would require garments in their gender and size, each person’s garments were packed together in a single packet marked with their name. These individually packed uniforms were then delivered in bulk to each site, so all staff could begin wearing the new uniform at the same time.
Alongside the roll-out of the uniform, we also released a bespoke uniform user guide which was issued to each staff member. This document provided details of the uniform including the size range, product codes and how to order replacement items. After the initial bulk order, staff were able to place ad hoc orders for replacement items or for full uniforms for new staff by contacting EEF Venues’ Account Manager.
The uniforms have been received positively by staff. Ahead of the launch, EEF Venues issued an internal press release to staff via its internal news bulletin to promote the new image – this was supported by professional photos and a quote from Senior Management.
